Hi. I have an 81 FI Spider. It was running great, but after a few stops yesterday, it would start but stall as soon as I depressed the accelerator. Eventually, it held RPMs and I was able to drive it. I filled with gas thinking the gauge was bad, but it only took 6 gallons and the problem reappeared in a few intersections when I slowed for a turn. I kept revs up and made it home. I am thinking fuel filter or pump? Or a sensor in the FI system. Any ideas?

Could be the throttle position sensor. I had intermittent performance before replacing this item.
