Hello all, i'm new to the forum. My dad and I are working on a 1982 spyder 2000. I was wondering what the pros and cons to swapping from fuel injected to carb are(if it can beven be done that is)? If it can how hard is it and any suggestions on where to get the parts?
If fuel injected is the way to go, suggestions on aftermarket?

It can be done by replacing the intake manifold and then adding a carb, linkage, etc. from a 1980 or other 2 liter engine. I have had both and the injected version is much better - it has more power and it always starts in cold weather. The Bosche L-Jetronic system is very simple and is easy to troubleshoot and fix when something does go wrong. The downside is that when it fails it can be an expensive repair (the air flow meter can be $400 - $600) or as inexpensive as a $20 sensor. In the long run, you'll be happier with F.I. for everyday driving.

any way to upgrade the injection? bolt on prefered? websites that deal in fiat performance parts would be nice. I'm a vw guy personally, it's my dads car. He just isn't very computer friendly.

It's tough to improve an injected car's performance without changing or re-programming the computer. There are many performance upgrades for carbed cars but few, if any, for injected Fiats of 80's vintage.
